NOS 1970 1A NY Tel Co loc C-4

NOS (new old stock) Western Electric early model 1A payphone made in 1970. Note the relay at the top left of the chassis. The totalizer has no provision for DTF (dial tone first). Also, note the NOS black coin box with a metal seal marked NYT (New York Telephone) and MW (Manhattan West). Note the shrink wrapped backboard for the installer.
