Mountain Bell 3A from Colorado loc E4
Western Electric 3A payphone from Colorado. This is the last model payphone that was made by Western Electric for the Bell System. I have heard that only about 300 were made. Note the black lower housing and light gray upper. That is how the ones used in Colorado were. The 3A was also used in California, those were all in black. The upper housing lock is a 29A54 and vault is a 30C.
